The legalization of Bulgarian documents represents the placement of Apostille at the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice etc.  on documents issued in Republic of Bulgaria.

The documents which are legalized are several types: ​

1. Municipal documents issued by the respective municipality in Bulgaria. Before their legalization is necessary the Municipality to issue a duplicate of the document with the respective certification or Apostille.  

2. Diploma, issued in Bulgaria. Before the diploma legalization, its notary attested copy shall be made which shall serve for placing Apostille. In case that you may not attest such copy, we may make this instead of you. The Diploma is certified at two places – at the Ministry of Education and Science and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

3. Certificate of criminal record and documents issued by any court. For the legalization of such document it shall contain compulsory two signature – of Judge and of Secretary (or other official).

4. Certificate of the Registry Agency – original is necessary with rectangular seal of the Registry Agency.  

5. Declaration, Power of attorney etc – they shall be prior signed and certified before notary.

 

*For the legalization of documents from abroad as of 01.03.2018 a sworn translator signs the document translation before notary in Bulgaria and this document becomes valid before all institutions in Bulgaria.
